The Kid With a Bike (2011)
A powerful film from a great director. I was a bit skeptical because of the young actor, but I got fast attached to this interesting and sad story about a boy with a dad who doesn’t want to see him.
My rating: 9/10
The Future (2011)
What a weird film. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoy “Me and You and Everyone We Know”, because this is slower, less straight forward, less funnier and very confusing. I definitely have to watch it again some time to understand it better.
My rating: 7,5/10
My Devil’s Double (2011)
Great. 8,5/10
50/50 (2011)
Not so bad, but I don’t think I will watch it again.
My rating: 8/10

Am Ende Kommen Touristen (2007)
“A civil service worker befriends an elderly Holocaust survivor.” A bit boring, but okey.
My rating: 7/10
The Messenger (2009)
Actually not so bad. I enjoyed it.
My rating: 8/10
Terri (2011)
Good acting, funny, different.
My rating: 8/10
Another Earth (2011)
Dark, beautiful. – 9/10
Our Idiot Brother (2011)
I don’t understand why this movie has an average rating of 6,8 on IMDB. It is a predictable comedy with Paul Rudd, an actor I am starting to hate. His character has three annoying sisters who blame him for every bad thing that happens to them. The character Rudd is playing is – as the title says – dumb, but his dumbness is not believable to me.
The story had however a few good laughs and Steve Coogan made a great appearance.
My rating: 5/10
Renn, Wenn Du Kannst (2010)
German fine movie about three young people (I guess between the ages of 19-25) who meet one day: a bitter guy in a wheelchair, his new assistant worker and a cute girl who plays the cello.
As with many other fine German movies, this has great acting and script.
Maybe a bit too long.
